Illustrative system architecture -- confirm with engineering team
Why Visibility Matters
What operators and owners face without it.
No unified view
I cannot see system performance in one place. Data is scattered across devices, spreadsheets and manual logs.
Slow fault response
Faults take too long to locate. Without centralized alerts, teams rely on site visits or user-reported issues.
Multi-site complexity
Multiple sites and devices are difficult to manage. Each project becomes a separate monitoring effort with no shared view.
Role fragmentation
Operators, installers and equipment providers need different views. A single shared login exposes too much or too little.
Platform Capabilities
Six functions that close the visibility gap.
The HMS/EMS platform is designed around the questions operators and owners actually ask -- from device status to multi-site reporting. Specific feature availability depends on the selected platform and product configuration.
Real-Time Monitoring
View status of connected inverters, modules, batteries and power stations. Data refresh intervals depend on logger model and network configuration.
Fault Alerts
Summarize and display abnormal conditions for faster response. Alert delivery method and latency depend on network connectivity and platform configuration.
- -- Centralized alarm view
- -- Fault classification
Remote Data Access
Support data transmission through 4G, Wi-Fi, LAN and compatible communication interfaces. Specific interfaces available depend on the logger model selected.
Energy and Profit Analysis
The platform can present generation and value calculations. We confirm the calculation method, currency support and market applicability for your deployment during technical review.
Verify with engineering before relying on financial outputs
Multi-Platform Access
The current brochure lists iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. Tell us which devices your team uses, and we will confirm supported versions and feature availability before the system is specified.
Multi-Site Management
Manage multiple power stations from a single account view. Site grouping, portfolio-level reporting and cross-site alert aggregation depend on the platform tier and project configuration.

Common Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Clear answers to the questions project teams ask most often, with configuration-dependent details identified for project review.
Is monitoring included with every MOLETONG product?
Monitoring capability depends on the product and configuration. A compatible Stick Logger (LS4G-5, LSW-5 or LSE-3) is required to connect devices to the HMS/EMS platform. Whether a logger is included or must be purchased separately depends on the specific product and order configuration. Confirm with the sales team for each product line.
Can the system connect to third-party equipment?
Third-party equipment can only be confirmed as compatible after protocol and API verification. The Stick Logger communicates via RS485 and supports common protocols, but compatibility with specific third-party inverters, batteries or meters must be assessed per device. Do not assume compatibility without a technical review from the MOLETONG engineering team.
Does the platform support a local EMS deployment?
Local EMS deployment may be possible for selected commercial and utility-scale projects. The standard platform model is cloud-hosted. Whether a local deployment is available, and what hardware and software it requires, must be confirmed for the specific platform and project architecture. Raise this requirement early in the project scoping process.
Where is the operational data stored?
Data storage region, retention period and backup policy are not published on this page because they have not yet been independently verified and confirmed for all markets. We will publish this information once it has been confirmed by the MOLETONG IT and legal team. If you require this information for a specific project or regulatory requirement, please contact us directly.
Can different users have different access levels?
Yes. The platform is designed with role-based access. The brochure identifies operator, installer and equipment provider as distinct roles with different views and functions. The exact permissions available per role, and whether they can be customized, depend on the platform tier and project configuration. Confirm the role structure for your use case with the MOLETONG team.
What happens to data if the network connection is lost?
Breakpoint transmission is listed as a function for selected Stick Logger models, which suggests that data is buffered locally during connectivity loss and uploaded when the connection is restored. The local storage capacity, maximum buffer duration and data integrity during recovery must be confirmed per logger model with the engineering team.
